Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Golden Wedding 20 Mark, 1896-A (Berlin), PCGS PR62
Coin Details | |
---|---|
As is almost always the case with German gold, at some point over the decades there has been faint contact to the fields. However, this is still a most attractive Proof example of this exceedingly rare coin with good contrast and the start of faint "old gold" toning. Despite this coin being graded "only" PR62, we know of only 1 finer example, which is an Institutional collection. We cannot stress strongly enough, how rarely such coins as these turn up on the open market. The KM valuation does not reflect the REAL market level for Proof Reichsgold. |
