Saxony (Kingdom), 2 Mark, 1902-E (Muldenhütten), PCGS PR63+
A nice contrasty Proof with razor-sharp detail and dish-like curved mirror fields. There is some minor contact and chatter, but this mostly disappears under a most attractive overall blueish-grey toning with hints of purple.
Proofs of the currency coins of King Albert are ALL extremely rare. Taking a general look at the Pops, you will quickly see how few are around.
The Proof mintage for this coin is thought to be only about 100 pieces, so this attractive example will remain one of the finest surviving.
