Saxony (Kingdom), 2 Mark, 1914-E (Muldenhütten), PCGS MS64+
This coin must have lain undisturbed in a wooden coin cabinet for a long time. The obverse has a wonderful, even gold toning which virtually mask the couple of tiny points on contact in the field. The reverse is a blaze of lustre with only a hint of toning around the rim.
This may well be the most attractive example surviving, well worthy of the "+" and ideal for a collector of nicely coloured coins.
