Saxony (Kingdom), 3 Mark, 1908-E (Muldenhütten), PCGS PR63DCAM

Coin Details

This must have been one of the first Proofs struck from brand-new dies.  The DCAM grade of this coin is well deserved.  Only some stray, fine hair-lines hold this coin back from a higher grade.  A hint of rim toning proves that this coin has never been messed with.

The currency-issue coins of Saxony in Proof are all EXTREMELY RARE.  The mintage of this coin for 1908 in Proof is estimated at only about 250 pieces and only the first few could possibly qualify as DCAM.
