Saxony (Kingdom), 3 Mark, 1913-E (Muldenhütten), PCGS PR65DCAM

Coin Details

Just take a long look at the PCGS photo.  This says just about all that can be said about this gem Proof.  There is a faint scratch at the base of the neck and tiny contact below the neck.  If you are looking for a coin that is monochrome brilliant white on jet black, here it is.  The contrast reminds of the work of Yousuf Karsh.

The currency-issue coins of Saxony in Proof are all EXTREMELY RARE.  The mintage of this coin for 1913 in Proof is estimated at only about 200 pieces.
