Saxony (Kingdom), 5 Reichsmark, 1901-E (Muldenhütten), PCGS MS66
How this coin survived 112 years in such immaculate condition defies explanation !
Only a couple stray, tiny points on contact keep this coin from being absolutely perfect. Cartwheel lustre on both sides rotates around the satiny details. The toning on this example is slightly more intense than the companion coin we have in stock, this coin tending to a light purple-brown. A joy to behold!
This and the other MS66 which we also have, are probably the finest, and definitely the most attractive, specimens surviving.
