Weimar Republic, Liberation of Rhineland 5 Reichsmark, 1930-A (Berlin), PCGS PR66DCAM

Coin Details

What a powerful coin !  Unusual quality for the Berlin Mint.

Dazzling white relief on bottomless mirrors !  This is how these coins looked when struck, but sadly, only a handful have survived without something happening to those big mirrors around the Eagle.  Usind a STRONG glass, you will find a couple points of contact on the Eagle.  The fields are incredibly clean.  NGC would give this coin an ULTRA CAMEO grade.

This is by far the best Proof from the Berlin mint that we have EVER seen.  The book values for normal Proofs can be thrown overboard.
